“Sustainable performance”
Sustainable performance is based on clear communication within the system (people, places, things and their interactions).
Sustainable performance requires the system to look forward and use the past for informed decisions. Sustainable achievers focus on their goals and transform the system to the next level.
Sports, like businesses, is a social system. Healthy systems deliver sustainable performance. Although sometimes medals are won by destructive systems, they often lead to burnout and conflict. In sustainable performance, the medal has a higher value than the victory and represents the achievement of a healthy system.
Laurent Meuwly brings his insights around sustainable performance in this seminar. Laurent is head of sprint, hurdles and relay in the Netherlands and is the coach of Femke Bol, the leading Lady of Dutch athletics.
